On behalf of the Colac Bowling Club Div 1 side we are saddened to say good bye to our great team mate in “Carmo” or Great Man as he was known. One of the finest leaders in his time at the club and playing in four Div 1 pennant winning sides, his ability to seek out who had the fullest lolly jar and the most black ones on pennant days was legendry and had been known to take them home and finish them while watching the tv during the week. As our bus driver who had to put up with a lot of noise and antics on our trips home from games , we regularly had music going and when “Unchain My Heart” (Joe Cocker) come on one night Carmo belted it out word perfect which become our unofficial anthem. Carmo your holding “shot” well played. We will miss you.

We would like to express our gratitude to Graeme for his continued and very generous support to our father also. Whilst going through his own struggles, Graeme was always happy to spend time with and exchange experiences with dad which was so much more significant than we could ever express. We are forever grateful for this companionship and so very sad for you all at this time.
