Condolences from all the Monahan family from up the road in Talbot st many years ago. I remember Mr & Mrs Millar with great fondness. I just read with sadness that your mum has joined your dad very quickly. Although this must be extremely hard for you all, when two people have been together as long as they were it almost seems fitting they should not be apart long. Two beautiful caring people that never forgot who I was no matter how old I got. Regards to you all. Karen Slater(Monahan)

To the Millar Clan, my condolences on the passing of Ed, he was a good man. When we were teenagers, he used to drive Brendan & I to junior cricket, and was always keen to talk about the game on the way home. In later years when I saw him at the pool with Ula, he was always keen to get in and start their morning exercise and chats with others who enjoyed their morning pool routine. He also enjoyed a red wine or two with dad at some church family gatherings. Rest in peace Ed.

For 25 years, Ed and Ursula were members of our Church Community, the Croft Family group, which is how Mary and myself made Ed's acquaintance. A quiet man, but a gentleman, steadfast and true. A life not without challenges, but well lived. Now at Peace, Ed will be welcomed into heaven.
