Death notices

The Death Notice is a public notification that a death has occurred. The presentation of a death notice follows a relatively standard format but must include five essential points:

Surname
Where the deceased passed away
Date the deceased passed away
Where the deceased lived, the town and suburb
Who the deceased was related to

Writing obituaries

Quinn Funerals can assist you with writing an obituary or you may prefer to write one yourself. Obituaries are very personal and you can add whatever you like, keeping in mind the costs per line. Some newspapers publish obituaries free of charge but publication in such cases is at the newspaper’s discretion.
