1. I first met you (when our family moved to Colac) in 1970, when I was four years old, with nephritis.
   You were a godsend for mum over the years for which we were always so grateful.

2. Deepest sympathy to Margot and family on the passing of Dr Higgs, he was such a caring doctor and a wonderful man. I was one of his first patients at casualty in Colac when l had a terrible accident off a bike. I clearly remember his daily visits in the hospital making sure that l was recovering. Dr Higgs was The Brunt family doctor for many years, thank you Dr Higgs for all your care, support and friendship.

7. Admired and respected colleague of the Doctors and Staff at the Otway Medical Clinic. From 1995 – 2004.
   A dedicated provider of medical services to Colac and District 1969-2004.

   Fond memories of the old Valiant with the little dog on the back parcel rack that made the trip from Irrewarra to Colac when Peter was on call. Our sincere condolences to all the Higgs Family at this very sad time. May he rest in peace.

8. Wheelbarrow rides, Tree watering picnics, Sunday roasts, roaring fires, swims in a bin, driving the red cars up and down the driveway and Saturday treats from the milk bar. Will always remember, always be grateful for your kindness Dr Pete. Xx Ali Bops.
