Born Saturday October 10, 1936. Passed away Saturday April 22, 2023.
Loving wife of Frank (dec).
Gently passed into eternal life on her 66th wedding anniversary at Mercy Place.
Adored and cherished mother of Laurie (dec), Terry (dec), Karen Glennen, Pat, Ian, Maree, and their partners.
Loved Joanie to 20 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren.
Dear friend to many and now at rest and without pain. Thank you to all who provided support, care and companionship in recent years.
So sadly missed by all.
Funeral notice
Monday May 01, 2023
Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Mrs. Joan Margaret Johnson will be offered at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Gellibrand Street, Colac on Monday, May 1, 2023 commencing at 11 a.m.
For those that are unable to attend, click here to view the live-stream.
A burial will be held at the Scott's Creek Cemetery, Timboon-Colac Road, on the above date, commencing at 3:30 p.m.

I've tried to write something about Joan and all I have heard is 'Oh Crips .. Oh Crikey' .
So Il Start from here. I had the pleasure of knowing you for 10 years. You opened your home & heart to me and for that Il always be thankful. You weren't my Grandma but I loved you like you were mine.
Thank you for being the most beautiful Grandma Joan to our girls. Il cherish our last visit and am thankful that we got to tell you how loved you are.

Very sad to read of the passing of your beautiful Joanie. Very fond memories of Joan and Frank and family at Campbell Street many years ago. Joanie was the ideal mother, loving, forgiving, generous and devoted. Cherish your memories of this wonderful woman you were lucky to call Mum.

I am so glad to have known you Joan. You were always a special lady and i am proud to have called you a cousin. I am going to miss our little chats that we had when i would pop over to see you. You have a wonderful family and i think that is because of the way you and Frank were. Cannot make it to your funeral but am pleased i got to visit you the night of your passing. Will always be having happy memories of you. xx
