  36. Much loved nephew of the late Roberta (Thomson) Hay.

Ian visited our mother regularly. Together they enjoyed many chats, especially those about the family history of the Thomson family.

Ian continued to visit Mum once she moved to aged care accommodation. Something that meant the world to her.

Mum adored Ian and was proud of the kind and thoughtful man he was.

I will miss him, but always remember Ian as my lovely cousin.

Condolences to Patsy and family. May you find comfort in the knowledge your husband and father was held in high esteem by so many.

  37. Uncle Ian,
I keep picturing your face whenever I saw you - a smile, a "Oh Hello Allison!", Usually followed with a hug - it was that little bit of excitement in your voice that always made me smile because I felt so special. I think you had a way of making people feel special, you would ask after other family members to see how they're doing and it was always so genuine.

I know where ever you are you will continue to be so proud of all of your kids, we could all see how you were beaming with each of their accomplishments, you raised a great bunch xx Thanks for letting me play on your farm growing up and into adulthood at Boggy Creek, thanks for helping me to get my first Big Graphic Design job! (Who knew an old farmer from the sticks was so well connected!). My heart breaks that I won't be able to see you again, and even more so that my cousins have lost their Dad and Aunty Pasty has lost her husband. I wish we'd all had more time, but I hope you're with all your past loved ones talking about the old days you loved to reminisce about so much.

Love you always, your neice Allison xx
